Her family gatherings were so wonderful but none more than when her sisters Laurie, Kim and their families would all gather at her parents' house for a week or two of frolicking at the Barnstable Yacht Club and Sandy Neck.

She loved to read as it gave her such peace and serenity and it would not be uncommon for her to read a book in a day. Through it all, no matter what activity she was doing whether it be sailing, skiing, or fishing, there was always one constant – a good book was never far away. A beautiful sunny day on the slopes with her sons, family and friends was truly special and the après ski sessions with Tammy, Joe, Bill, and friends were legendary. She was a proud member of the Barnstable Yacht Club.Ĭhristine enjoyed skiing the peaks of Sunday River with her friends and family where there was always room at the Chubby Love Shack (a house she owned with Bill and the Mayo's) for any and all who came to visit. She would sit on her little perch and watch the world go by or be reading her book. Christine spent many a day fishing with Bill and the boys on their boat, but loved her newest boat the "Reel E Nauti" the most. No mother could be prouder of her children than she was of Nick and Luke who always enriched her life.Ĭhristine loved to sail with her father and family whether it be on her grandparent's boat in Nantucket Sound or racing the Rhodes in Barnstable Harbor, Biddeford Pool or Dennis. The cottage they built together in Harwich Port is a testament to their love for each other and their family. She worked up until a few weeks before her passing with pride, honor, and dignity.Ĭhristine and her future husband Bill, the love of her life, met in the spring of 1984 and began a wonderful adventure together for the next 37 years. She was so thankful for all the support her co-workers gave her over the years, but none more than that of Anthony Carnevale, a true mentor who was always there to see her through the difficult times. She loved her co-workers especially Rosa, Carolann, and Mary. She spent the last 27 years working at Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group, a company she truly loved, as Vice President of Plan Consulting. After working briefly for the FBI, she worked at Boston University as she earned a Master of Business Administration. She attended Mount Holyoke College and then transferred to Brown University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was born in Barnstable, MA the daughter of Cy and Weezie Nelson and she graduated from Barnstable High School. Christine waged a fierce four-year battle with cancer with the same energy and spirit she constantly displayed in her 56 years of life. Eldridge, of Rowley, MA passed away peacefully November 27, 2021, in her Rowley home with her family by her side.
